 Baking Chicken Thighs

Many individuals favor delta chicken thighs because they are juicy and loaded with flavour. However, some people don't know how to prepare chicken thighs. The most popular way to cook chicken thighs is to use a hybrid technique. The chicken thighs are seared on the stove top and completed in the oven.

With this chicken thigh recipe, the oven does the heavy work. All you have to do is assemble the ingredients and transfer them to the oven. Rinse the chicken in cold water and remove the excess moisture with a paper towel. Use a non-stick skillet, seasoned cast-iron skillet, or a large baking pan to cook the chicken. Place the chicken in the pan in a single layer. Pour the marinade over the chicken and in less than 30 minutes you will have a hot meal on your table. The chicken thighs will release their own juices which will combine with the marinade to make the perfect sauce for your chicken.

How Long Should Chicken Thighs Be Baked?

Oven-baked chicken thighs can be cooked slowly or quickly using high heat. Slow cooking chicken thighs in a crock pot are one way to cook chicken thighs slowly while roasting chicken thighs is a way to cook chicken quickly. Either way, you will have delicious chicken thighs.

For this recipe, bake the chicken thighs at 425 ℉ for 25 minutes. During the last 5 minutes of cooking time, broil the chicken for five minutes. This will help the chicken to develop crispy charred edges. Do not walk away from the chicken once the oven is set to broil. In a few seconds, beautifully caramelized edges can be turned into badly burned chicken thighs.

Boneless Chicken Thighs VS Bone-in Chicken Thighs

With this recipe, you do not have to choose between bone-in and boneless chicken thighs. Both cuts of chicken work well with this recipe. Although bone-in chicken thighs retain moisture better than boneless chicken thighs (the bone directs heat evenly through the meat and it makes for a slightly juicier chicken thigh) if you use boneless chicken thighs the recipe will yield equally delicious results.

Honey Soy Marinade

This marinade is made up of soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, green onions, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and minced ginger. These Asian inspired flavors are combined in a large bowl to create the marinade for the chicken. The chicken is then added to the marinade, tossed, and left to let the flavours marry for 1 hour or overnight. Even if you do not have the time to wait for the chicken to absorb the flavours of the marinade you can skip this step and bake the chicken in the marinade and receive the same delicious taste.
